NOVA is excited to announce that Matthew Ramsey, a driven accounting leader with experience across public accounting and private equity-backed operations, has joined the NOVA team as the Controller. Known for his hands-on leadership style and ability to build scalable processes, Matthew brings a strong foundation in financial reporting, internal controls, and team development.
Prior to this, Matthew led the monthly close process for a rapidly growing, multi-location organization, consistently delivering an efficient and reliable close while overseeing a layered accounting team, and managing financial audits. Additionally, he rebuilt accounting processes and implemented internal controls that drove financial recoveries and improved operations.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys traveling with his wife, Lillie Grace, and spending time with his two dogs, Dolly and Sulley.
