Project consisted of the development of a 33+ acre site for the construction of 4 automobile dealerships ranging in size from 15,000 to 45,000-sf.

Services Provided: Geotechnical and construction materials testing services for earthwork, including the construction of 4 retaining walls of up to 30 feet in height and 1300 linear feet, utility installation, foundation evaluations, pavement inspections, masonry construction inspections and testing, reinforced concrete inspections and testing, and structural steel inspections and testing.  Shallow rock was encountered across a majority of the site therefore NOVA also provided consultation and testing for re-use of the crushed rock on site to minimize costs associated with disposal and haul-off.  The construction also included improvements to Bruton Smith Boulevard which required coordination with the Town of Concord and NCDOT.
