Client: Mount Sinai Medical Center

The Mount Sinai Medical Center is undergoing a major renovation to modernize the hospital and position it for the next 50 years of growth. They are currently the only hospital in Miami Beach and need to expand their facilities.

The first phase of the project has included renovation of the existing facilities. The Cooling Tower, Power Plant, Harding Building, FPL Vault and MRI Suite have all be upgraded.

The second phase of the project will consist of the new construction of 7-story medical facility and emergency care facility. The new tower will be located at the center of the medical campus facing Biscayne Bay and will contain the new surgery facility, emergency care areas and patient rooms.   The new facility will have 350,000-square feet, with patient facilities of 155 rooms per floor.
