This project included performing structural condition survey and capacity analysis of Morgan truck body manufacturing facility in Rydal Georgia. NOVA was selected to conduct a structural condition survey of the facility and the overhead suspended trolley cranes that are used to fabricate truck bodies for delivery trucks. A list of immediate and maintenance repairs to the facility were provided. Our firm also performed materials testing on the structural steel frame and performed a structural capacity analysis to check the roof framing for code compliance with the additional dead and live loads from the overhead trolley cranes.
