The Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa is undergoing a major renovation and upgrade to be a part of the JW Marriott brand. It is scheduled to reopen for business and be known as the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, and it will be the brand’s first beachfront resort in the United States.

The first phase of the project has included renovation in the lobby and restaurant areas, expansion of the pool decks, and the addition of a new bar and grill. Guest rooms have been redecorated and fitted with larger showers and more comfortable bathroom facilities.

The second phase of the project will consist of construction of an adults-only tower with 94 guest rooms, a rooftop pool, and a large entertainment center. An exhibit hall, meeting areas, and ballroom will also be added to the facility.
