After a long search, we are excited to welcome Michele Brown-Rall, AICP, LEED AP, CQM to this newly-created position of Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, Michele will be responsible for leading the company’s growth agenda, which includes developing, directing, supporting, and executing the business development strategy of all service lines. She will be collaborating across regions and business units to achieve individual, team and company revenue goals and position the company for long-term sustainable growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Having been in AEC Management and Director roles since 1992, Michele brings a vast resume that reflects experience in business development, environmental planning, program management, project development, facility management, site planning and architectural design. Before joining NOVA, Michele founded r5 Professional Consulting, held the position of Director of Project Development with Epsten Group, Principal/Southeast Business Development Director with Jacob-Global Buildings, and PM/Business Development Director/South Region Market Director for Heery International.
Michele earned her Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning, with an Environmental Planning Concentration and a Transportation Planning Certificate, from San Jose State University. Attending Tuskegee University, she graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, with a Minor in Business Administration.
After hours, this travel enthusiast loves to explore! Michele’s favorite spots include anyplace with clear, blue ocean. Next stamps on her passport include Spain and the Greek Isles. She loves to cook and is obsessed with the Food Network. HGTV is a another favorite; she blames her background in architecture and construction for this passion. She and husband dream of having their own home rehab show (his background is in architecture and construction also). This family counts their 3 grown sons as the most important and precious blessings, thus far.
