Please join us in welcoming Brittany Israel, PE on recently becoming part of the NOVA family. Brittany will serve as Senior Engineer on NOVA’s Environmental team and will be based in our Kennesaw, Georgia office.
Brittany brings over 10 years’ experience to our company and has served in roles such as environmental department head and environmental engineer. She has collaborated with state, county, and local governments to increase adoption of green infrastructure, resulting in an increase in a greener approach to development. Brittany’s proven project management skills, backed by her environmental expertise and knowledge of stormwater and watershed protection requirements, will serve as huge attributes in improving quality and costs, while also building on business development strategies.
Brittany’s educational background and credentials are certainly impressive. She obtained her Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University. She is an MS4 Compliance and Enforcement Certified Inspector (MS4CECI) and is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia and Alabama.
During her spare time, she enjoys being in the woods and exploring/hiking, reading when she can find the leisure time (Stephen King is her favorite). She loves learning about wildlife and chooses her vacation spots around the biodiversity of the region. Her favorite movie is “A League of Their Own”, she’s a huge Auburn Tigers fan, and has an aspiring goal to improve the water quality of streams and rivers in Georgia.
