Established in 1996, NOVA Engineering and
Environmental (NOVA) was originally founded to provide environmental
consulting, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials
testing and inspection services to the design and construction
community primarily in the Southeast United
States.
In
July 2007, NOVA was acquired by the Trident III fund that is managed
by Stone Point Capital. This acquisition was to gain
NOVA’s expertise and significant experience in geotechnical
engineering, environmental and construction materials testing
services, and to enhance its sister companies’ (NOVA Quality
Assurance Consulting Services, NOVA Remediation, and Owens
Geotechnical) core services offerings in Florida and Nevada.
Today, NOVA continues to offer traditional engineering and
environmental consulting services, while offering additional services
which include Loss Prevention, LEED consulting, Code Compliance, Plan
Review, Municipal Outsourcing, Construction Defect Mitigation and FL Private
Provider TM services from locations throughout the United
States.
